September Open
House/Tech Session
WERKSTATT Charlottesville
will host a joint event for the PCA Blue Ridge Region
and PCA Shenandoah Region in September 2009 featuring a
tour of our shop and tech session on the Boxster Spec.
The shop tour will be followed by dinner at a local
restaurant. Stay tuned for all the event details.

Chesapeake Region
PCA will celebrate its 40th annual Chesapeake Challenge,
the oldest running PCA multi-event weekend, on Saturday,
September 26, 2009 in Frederick, Maryland. The highlight
of the day’s events will be the Challenge Concours
d”Elegance and Car Show. WERKSTATT Charlottesville was
invited to participate in the car show and a pre-event
tech talk on Friday, September 25. Visit

early ‘80s a class of fifth graders from Stonewall
Elementary School in Clear Brook, close to Winchester,
took a field trip to White Post Restorations, a car
restoration shop in White Post, Virginia. On that
afternoon, the kids looked inside some of the most
specialized and elite cars ever designed—Bentleys,
Rollses, Jags. But for Kenny Shreves, it was more than
